The surface of solid wood floor presents the natural texture of wood. This kind of wood grain beauty from nature is deeply loved by people. So what kind of skirting line and buckle should be used to complete the pavement of the whole floor?
In short, there are two types. One is the real wood grain line, the other is the imitation wood grain line.
1、 True wood lines
(1) , pure solid wood line
Using solid wood with the same wood species as the solid wood floor as the line substrate (finger joint or the whole can be used), the surface is painted with the same color, which is the most appropriate matching method.
Also can use the solid wood that is not the same kind of wood as the floor to make lines. The color of the paint on the surface of the lines is close to or different from the color of the floor, which is decided by the consumers' preference.
(2) The line covering the solid wood skin
The base material of the line can be solid wood, density board, multi-layer board, etc. the surface of the line is covered with the solid wood skin of the same wood species as the solid wood floor, and the same color paint is sprayed.
2、 Imitation wood lines
There are many kinds of wood like lines: A. solid wood printing; B. solid wood / density board / multilayer board / polymer composite material as substrate + PVC wood grain film coated on the surface; C. density board as base material + surface hot pressed wood grain melamine paper; D. polymer composite material + heat transfer printing wood grain film
Note: the surface layer of multi-layer solid wood composite floor is the same as that of pure solid wood floor, so the above line matching principles are generally used for multi-layer solid wood composite floor.
